Surfer’s Bay VIP has recently expanded its facilities for members by
creating a new sim – Surfer’s Eden. The new sim is located East of the
main sim - behind the Maoli waves - and be accessed by surfboard, jet
ski or teleport and was developed to provide more open water and
relaxation areas for all members.
Surfer’s Eden echoes the design and atmosphere of Surfer’s Bay VIP
which opened in May 2018 and which is inspired by the real-life island of
Bali. The new main island offers communal places to sit, relax or explore
and is surrounded by open water on all sides. There is a C-3 rezzer on
the new sim or members can rezz their own boards anywhere on either
Surfer’s Bay VIP or Surfer’s Eden.
Surfers can take a post wave break around the blazing bonfire or chill in
the hammocks perched high on the cliff face, or relax in the hot tub
under the rushing waterfalls. Surfer’s Eden also offers rentals for those
that enjoy living directly on the water with each of the six parcels being
fully private, secluded and with tropical landscaping.
“Since I opened Surfer’s Bay VIP back in May, I have been asked a lot
for rental homes here by many of our 5,200 members,” said Duncan
Blackburn, owner of the two sims. “So, I was delighted when all six
homes were snapped up within just 30 minutes of the new sim opening
and I am really enjoying seeing our tenants take to their surfboards and
head out to the waves from their private decks.”
The team at Surfer’s Bay VIP are currently developing new projects for
launch in late Fall and are currently running a ‘Last Days of Summer’
photo contest with cash prizes including a 10,000L$ first prize. Visit
