2008 SLSA Season One Champion Awards Party
Friday 20 June 2008, 1800-0300 hrs hrs SLT (0100-1000 hrs GMT)

The 2008 Second Life Surfing Association (SLSA) Season One Champion Awards Party takes place at Majini Island, Bishara Resorts on Friday 20 June 2008, 6pm SLT to celebrate the end of the surf season. The event includes end of surf season awards presentations, the Thor Bishop MVP award, announcements of the new inductees to the SLSA Hall of Fame and 9 straight hours of partying with live DJs through until 3am SLT on Saturday.

The Flynn Sheridan Invitational Surf Contest
Saturday 21 June 2008, 1000 hrs SLT (1700 hrs GMT)

The Flynn Sheridan Invitational Surf Contest takes place on Saturday 21 June 2008 starting at 10am Second Life time (SLT) at Surfline Epic Rezzable in aid of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. The event is named after Flynn Sheridan, founder and former director of the Second Life Surfing Association (SLSA). A L$ 500 donation fee is applicable to those that wish to compete. Donations from spectators encouraged.

VSA Surf Jam 5
Saturday 28 June 2008, 1100 hrs SLT (1800 hrs GMT)

Vibrations Surf Alliance (VSA) Surf Jam 5 takes place on Saturday 28 June 2008, 11am SLT at Majini Island, Bishara Resorts. The monthly Surf Jam's are members only events, limited to 20 competitors. Surfers will face off in four preliminary heats, narrowing down to 10 surfers in the semis and 5 for the finals' heats. Surf Jam 5 will also help raise money for Relay for Life. The competition has prizes for the top 6 surfers, plenty of music and hot surfing action for spectators!

'Midnight on Pepo'
Wednesday 18 June 2008, 1100 hrs SLT (1800 hrs GMT)
The Vibrations Surf Alliance (VSA) midnight surf session on Pepo Island, Bishara Resorts starts at 11am SLT on Wednesday 18 June. An evening of fun and surfing on the amazing phosphorescent break on Pepo Island under the cover of midnight skies. Prizes and freebies for all surfers.

Windsurf RSX Fun Races
Monday 23 June 2008, 1100 hrs SLT (1800 hrs GMT)
A weekly windsurfing competition for RS:X windsurfers organised on Mondays by Fishers Island Yacht Club in the Plum Gut and Sailor's Cove sims. RS:X and RS:iX windsurfers use real wind.

Wimby Rocks!

The Vibrations Surf Alliance (VSA) open surfing session on the new Wimby Island surfing break, Bishara Resorts. Expect lost of surfing, jamming to reggae sounds and an after session party!

VSA Wind Jam

The Vibrations Surfing Alliance (VSA) Wind Jam windsurfing competition takes place on Wednesday 12 July at 11am SLT on Majini Island, part of Bishara Resorts. A maximum of 24 windsurfers are expected to take part. Expect windsurfing, cash prizes, freebies and plenty of fun.

Open surfing session on Majini Island, Bishara Resorts where every wave is a 'party wave'! "Jam to the sounds of classic surf music, drink Corona and pass out on the deck after dancing all night!"
