To the SL surfing community and all the friends of T'ai, Sally said,
"The Tai sim has been a home to many many folks over the years, and especially to the SL Surfing Community.
I would just like to acknowledge all the wonderful surfers that have stayed and or visited and or supported the Tai sim over the ten years of its life to date.
It has been fulfilling and it has been fun particularly to host many surfing competitions there which has always been a highlight for me :)
Tai has never been a money maker for me and always ran at a loss, which i accepted so that I could provide that venue and that experience to my friends in SL.
It is time for me to consolidate my expenses within SL and for other prioritises in my RL.
"The Bad news is, nothing lasts forever, the Good news is nothing lasts forever."
The good news is, that the sim and the location will live on and change with a new creative passion, with a new name and a new owner, full of enthusiasm and excitement and i can't wait to see what she does with it and how it evolves! :)

"It is quite a responsibility continuing the culture & history of T’ai SIM.
T’ai is an iconic Surfing SIM and I would like to continue that tradition on the Surfing Archipelago.
It’s my vision for T’ai to become a Dedicated Pure “Surfing SLSA Competition Homestead SIM”.
T’ai will become the new home for Team Tsunami.

It is Team Tsunami's desire to continue the growth of SLSA and the Surfing Community.

During the ownership transition, T'ai will also be changed to a Homestead sim. By maintaining its proximity to Chi, it will continue to be an SLSA competition sim.
As Teddy Bear has said, preserving the history of T'ai and continuing the surfing tradition are two of the most important things she's trying to accomplish. At the time of this writing, since T'ai will no longer be providing rental homes, Teddy Bear has submitted proposed name change to "T'ai surfing, Home of Team Tsunami".
