Crystal Edge Dance Show
The Crystal Edge Dance Troupe is at it again. The talented dancers put on a show monthly against the beautiful backdrop of rolling waves at T'ai Beach. The invisible doors open this Wednesday at 2:30pm SLT. Seating fills up fast so get there early!
The show starts promptly at 3:00pm and features MANY set and costume changes. Don't miss the dance show the surfing community raves about monthly.

Bird Surf Challenge Deadline
Surfing's newest circuit "The Surf Challenge" closes its registration Wednesday, February 7, 2018 @ midnight SLT. The surfer vs surfer competition will take place this Saturday with each participant surfing off against their opponent.
Head over to HummingBird Point before Wednesday to get the "Nomination for 'The Bird Surf Challenge' Feb 2018" notecard from the Bird Surf Challenge sign pictured here. Send your completed notecard to Shilow Carter, inworld.

The Bird Surf Challenge
The moment you've been waiting for, The Bird Surf Challenge is finally here. Saturday, February 10th @ 11am all competitors will gather on the shores of HummingBird Point to go head to head against other surfers.
"This is a very flexible format that is great fun with an awesome cash prize" Shilow Carter, Founder of the Bird Surf Challenge, told applicants. First place is 5000L and a prize! Spectators are welcome to sit along the beach or at Duffy's Surf Bar.

Shagwong Cove Resort Exploration Discovery Hunt Deadline
Saturday, February 10th at midnight is the absolute last chance to turn your pictures into the Shagwong Cove Resort for a chance to win 1000 Linden and a one week FREE vacation! Contestants must get the "Shagwong Cove Resort Explore and Discovery Hunt" packet and follow the landmarks closely, snapping a picture of all the destinations.
Once you're done, send your Full Perm photographs (in a single folder) to Azizamendominezu inworld with the contributing avatar's username. Get over there before the deadline to explore one of Second Life's most stunning beaches!

The Second Life Surfing Association is about to kick off its 1st season of the new year. Competitive surfers yearning for the season championship will have to prove they've mastered multiple board on multiple waves at multiple beaches before they can be inducted into the legendary Hall of Fame. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, learn the very first board you'll compete on: The HP5.
This Sunday evening, long term surf-pro Gia Villani will teach you how to control the board most fear riding! Lessons are always free and all are welcome. Come to Solace Dreams beach, February 11th @ 5:00PM SLT to learn a new and exciting sport!
