Open ONLY to surfers who have not competed more than once!!!
When: Sunday, February 13, starts at 11am SLT
Where: Teahupo’o, Hana Aloha
Boards: SSi Longboard – rezzer at the beach
Waves: HP Sunset
Format: timed heats. Each surfer will have 6 minutes for their performance. Best 2 rides will count for their score. 2 best surfers in a heat will advance to the finals or semi finals (in case there is more surfers in the competiton than we can accommodate without having a semi-final round).

You can register:
1. (preferred) on the SLSA forum after you create your account and have it activated by one of the directors (www.surfslsa.org/forums) – REGISTRATION TOPIC: http://www.surfslsa.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1397
or
2. by sending a NC stating your will to compete in the event (e.g. I, Abel Halderman, would like to register for the SLSA New Surfers St. Valentine’s Challenge on February 13) to CoolKat Delicioso and Kantbe Thursday. CK and Kantbe will send you confirmation IMs as soon as they get your NC. In case you didn’t get confirmation, contact them directly as soon as possible.
Practice: contact Abel Halderman or stay tuned for a surf class notice during the week.
Competition packs, including heat draws, times, rashguards etc. will be sent to the surfers on Friday, Feb 11.
