International Surf Party a Hit!

submitted by Kantbe Thursday

There was a great turn out at the International Surfing Party held at Tsunami on Sunday September 19th. Folks came from around the globe as evidenced by Analog Jung's fine example of showing off his baton twirling skills from when he was a collage cheerleader.

DJ Dan (001000000101110 Numbanumba) out did himself with an international selection, including such greats as Flogging Molly's immortal surfing song "Devil's Dance Floor".

Since our Aussie friends had been surfing (or partying ) hard the previous evening, their absence was noted. However, as a tribute, the barbie was fired up. No shrimp were on hand, so attendees foraged for burgers and dogs. For some unexplained reason, when the call went out for dogs to grill, Surf Rang and Bandit suddenly disappeared. Must be an Aussie thing.

A wonderful time was had by all and there's already talk of having another! Keep your eye's peeled on SurfWatch. We know ya'll don't want to miss a party opportunity!

Special thanks to Colleen Brennan for inspiration and to Abel Halderman and Analog Jung for helping put it all together.
