SurfWatch is reporting live from Redondo Beach on the Pacific Coast Xtreme Tandem Surf Competition -- Starting Saturday 8 August 2008 from 1100 hrs Second Life Time (SLT or PDT) or 1800 hrs GMT.
LIVE RESULTS
This event is for teams of two riders surfing one wave at the same time, one surfing a shortboard and one surfing a longboard. The contest will have three judges, one scoring for each rider and one for the overall performance of the tandem team. Other than that SLSA competition rules apply. Twelve tandem teams (24 surfers in total) are expected to take part in the first three competition heats (see live results for information on heat draws). SurfWatch will post the competition heat draws, semi finals results and finals results only for the Pacific Coast Xtreme Tandem after each set of heats has been completed.
