SLSA Fundraiser and Mini-Comp

Today, the Second Life Surfing Association (SLSA) held a fundraiser and mini-comp on its home sim of Solace Dreams. The fundraiser was held by way of donations, raffles, and the ability to bet on the heats of the mini-comp.


The mini-comp was a new and different format for the SLSA. In a "sudden death" style set-up, each heat was limited to two surfers with one wave each. There was one judge who decided which surfer best deserved to advance to the next round. And to keep things really interesting, surfers did not know what board they would be competing on until the start of their heat.
