Ikran Flight Virtual Highway

Submitted by Marianna Monentes

Banshee Mountain residents were having an incredible Saturday flying the skies and
taking in all the new sights that are fond to an ikran. His magestic
mountains rise up into the sky like a stairway to heaven with his nest
on the highest peak.

Kayaker Magic told me at one time he could create ikrans for me if I
ever chose to do a Pandoran SIM, he has done just that. Thank you
Kayaker for not only being a great friend but for bringing Blue Moon
Pandoran Region life!!

Kantbe Serious: Fun Facts

SURF IRELAND?  Are you kidding?
Not atall, atall! ~ With an incredibly varied coastline and almost every imaginable kind of beach and reef set-up available the UK offers a huge variety of waves to the surfer prepared to suffer cold in the winter and a regular battering from strong coastal winds. North Cornwall and Ireland offer the most consistent coastlines, although the variety of rock reef and dominant offshore winds in the North East make the most of every drop of swell.

SLSA Judges Training/Mini Comp and Techniques Scheduled!

Submitted by Revlon "Revy" Benoir

In preparation for the introduction of the HP5 board at the next competition, this weekend at Encinitas SIM;
Saturday  6/9 at 11:00 am Mini - Comp / Judges training session With Bobbi Laval.   Everyone is welcome not just Judges
Prior to heading out to the wave, Bobbi Laval will explain some of the differences judges might look for while judging an HP5 surfboard vs an SSI surfboard.  We will then hold a mini - comp as training exercise for judges.
The way this works the first 12 surfers to show up on the beach will be given a chance to head out with Bobbi Laval.  The surfers will each take 3 waves and be given an actual score in local chat so they can gauge their current performance level.   Those wishing to judge can rate the waves and compare their score with Bobbi's.   Top 2 scores win an HP5!
Sunday 6/10 at 8:00 am Advanced HP5 Competition Riding with Wil DeCuirAfter our first classes on the HP5 we have had so many request to bring Wil back we only had one option..... WIL IS BACK!  to cover more advanced techniques with us!    Don't want to miss this!
Sunday 6/10 at 11:00 am Basic HP5 Competition Riding with Abel Halderman

Blue Mood Pandoran RP Region Virtual Highway

Submitted by Marianna Monentes

Na’vi have many Ceremonies so keeping that in mind, I have begun making Ceremonial attire. The first in this line featured here is Breast Dressed, which I have embellished the breast with feathers and made prim cups that fit perfectly. The magic of virtual reality keep them firmly in place. The belt has beads and leather with many colorful natural feathers. This outfit and others can be seen at Blue Mood at the Blue Moon Pandoran RP Region at Virtual Highway . http://www.virtualhighway.us/

Special Wave Report

Great day to hit the beach!

With the upcoming SLSA competition at Encinitas using the HP5 surfboard, SurfWatch thought it might be useful to present a list from its Wave Report of those sims providing an HP5 board rezzer.  The wave types vary from sim to sim, so may not match up with the wave type used in the competition.  However, any of these locations should provide a suitable place to familiarize yourself with the HP5 board.

Role Call Island (was Kick Back Beach)

If any of you know of any other locations providing HP5 loaner boards, please post the SURL in the comments.
